MAX712CSE+Family Information

  • Charges NiCd and NiMH cells from a DC source with a voltage 1 V lower than the maximum battery voltage
  • From 1 to 16 cells can be charges at a rate of op to 4C
  • The voltage vs. time behaviour and temperature determine when charging stops
  • MAX 712 stops charging when the voltage no longer changes (zero slope)
  • MAX 713 stops charging when the voltage starts to decrease (negative slope)
