APPA 76 is a component tester suitable for both lab use and servicing. It measures resistance and capacitance. For diodes and LEDs, the forward voltage drop for a specific current is measured. Amplification factor and leak current are measured for transistors. Thyristors can be tested and declared whole or faulty. The voltage for the load is shown for batteries. APPA 76 has a large clear display and a robust cover which withstands tough environments. The test leads are provided with crocodile clips.
