Powerline technology enables data transmission over the power wiring in your home. Devolo dLAN adapters allow several computers to be networked via AC power points without complicated and expensive cabling. As virtually every room has an AC power point, PCs can be integrated into a network flexibly and regardless of their location. Internet access devices such as cable or ADSL modems, whose location is determined by the cable or telephone service point in your home or office, can be accessed from anywhere using the powerline system. A range of up to 300 m is possible, depending on the quality of the AC power mains. The dLAN adapters are Phase-independent, which means that individual adapters do not need to be connected to the same phase of the AC mains. Encryption reliably protects data against eavesdropping.
