The instrument has both internal and external FM modulation with high sensitivity over a wide range. Modulation is controlled with either the integrated 1 kHz signal or an external signal between 300 Hz and 50 kHz. The 4-row display constantly provides clear indications about functions and settings, input which is entered via the keyboard or the rotary control. There are as many as 9 memories for user set-ups. These are supported with battery backup. All functions can be remotely controlled via the RS-232 interface
